The World Builder is where you lay out your universe. Some of what you make here reaches the writer, and some of it is there for you to see. This page says which is which, so nothing you build is mistaken for something the book knows.
A location reaches the writer in chapters whose outline names it. Your Rules (on the World tab) and the World Builder's Magic, Cultures, Technology, Rules and Custom Notes sections are given to the writer before every chapter, ranked above everything else; Your Rules are also checked after each chapter is written: a broken rule gets the chapter rewritten, and if it still breaks one, the chapter is held or flagged for you with the passage quoted. Geography and History, paths, territory borders and everything you paint are saved for you but not sent to the writer yet.
