Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice & Takedown Policy

1. Overview
Novarrium ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our platform that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
2. Designated Copyright Agent

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on Novarrium infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works, a representative list.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that you request be removed, with enough detail to locate it (e.g., URL, novel title, author username).
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Please note: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
4. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or if outside the US, any judicial district in which Novarrium may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we will restore the removed material within 10-14 business days.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the platform or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
