Story Planner

The Story Planner turns intent into structure the drafting model works from. Your chapter outlines and key events go into every chapter's prompt, and the key events are checked against what the drafting model drafts.

What it is for

How it reaches the book

When a chapter is drafted, its outline goes into the prompt: point of view, key events, scene structure, and the opening hook, closing hook and emotional stakes. Before writing, the point of view is compared with your outline. Afterwards, each key event is looked for in the finished chapter, first by the names and actions in it and then by a second language-model read for paraphrase, and the result is saved with the chapter. A missed event never blocks a chapter. The hooks and stakes are instructions to the writer and are not checked afterwards.
